Our Parish Leadership

The Rev. Fr. Paul Andersen, Priest-in-Charge

Fr. Andersen was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts.

He attended the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa (B.A.)

and Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia (M.Div.)

He was ordained Deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama

and Priest in the Anglican Diocese of Belize, Province of the West Indies.

In addition to his church duties, Fr. Andersen also served for 23 years with the

U.S. Department of State, Foreign Service.

He is supported in his ministry by his wife Lilith Peklic’ Andersen.

Our Priest

The Reverend Paul Andersen began his duties as Priest-in-Charge effective January 1, 2023. Fr. Andersen comes to St. Christopher’s Church with extensive experience both secular and religious having served for twenty years with the Foreign Service (Diplomatic Corps.) of the U.S. Department of State with assignments in Central America, Europe, Eastern Europe, India and Africa. He has also served the Church both overseas and in Episcopal parishes in Massachusetts, Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama and North Carolina. Fr. Andersen was born and raised in Worcester, MA, received his B.A. from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, and his M. Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. Fr. Andersen’s wife, Lilith , also served with the U.S. Department of State and in private education as a language instructor of multiple languages. Fr. Andersen resides in Trent Woods, NC.
