Every Sunday we gather at 10am in joyful and reverent worship.
Our Worship Service combines Hymns (Music), Scripture (Bible), Sermon (Preaching), and Holy Communion (The Sacrament of the Lord’s Table, Eucharist or Mass).
Our Worship pattern reflects the liturgy and worship of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Christian church throughout the centuries. Our worship is “historic” in pattern but also is “relevant” in that all our words and actions speak to today’s challenges, needs and understandings. Thus we are both “ancient” and “modern”.
Founded in the mid-1950s, St. Christopher Church is build on the firm foundation of Faith and is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina.
The Scripture tells us that “God’s word endureth for ever!”
At Saint Christopher’s, no one is a stranger as we are called to be “a House of Prayer for all God’s people.”
So, whatever your religious background or religious tradition,
or whether you are a life-long church-goer or just beginning your spiritual journey and searching,
there is a place for you here!
